My background spans customer operations, fraud prevention, regulatory work, IoT incident analysis, and software engineering. That path taught me to understand systems from both sides: how they are built, and what happens when real people depend on them.

Professional work
Led frontend and BFF work within the modernization of an online-banking platform, helping move legacy functionality toward a micro-frontend architecture while improving API boundaries, testing, accessibility, and delivery quality.
Open-science tooling
Built full-stack tooling for managing machine-learning model metadata and developed an AI-assisted workflow for extracting structured information from scientific PDFs, with validation and GitHub-based automation around the wider open-science workflow.
A learning platform for developers built as a real product rather than a UI demo. It combines structured learning content, quiz mechanics, progress tracking, and multiplayer functionality in a maintainable React and Supabase architecture.

A few principles that guide architecture, implementation, review, and release decisions.

I prefer explicit contracts between frontend, backend, and external services. Stable boundaries, clear error semantics, and purposeful data models keep complexity from leaking through the application.

Accessibility, tests, performance, and maintainability are not cleanup tasks after a feature ships. They are part of how the feature is designed, reviewed, and released.

Good implementation starts with understanding who depends on the system, what can fail, and what the operational consequences are, not with choosing a framework.

I use AI where it improves research, delivery, and repetitive engineering work, but keep validation, tests, security boundaries, and human review explicit.
